All City Style, a branch of Bigshot Toyworks, began developing small subway train models several years ago.
Now, years later, the trains have been displayed worldwide, from New York to New Zealand.
In 2004, realizing the potential of his toys to be seen as art, Klim Kozinevich, owner of Bigshot, hooked up with ToyTokyo, and Showroom Gallery in NYC, as well as upwards of 100 artists from all disciplines, to curate a show wherein each artist customizes a train.
Classic graffiti work is far from the only media represented on these trains, where fine artists, sculptors, and even in some cases, corporations, mold the toy train into a new piece.
Since 2004, Klim has worked with galleries worldwide, and hundreds of artists to develop the show.
Although the show does not tour, it can be curated in any city, so look out for All City Trains in the near future.
