2007 Lite-On Awards
Lite-On Awards, the Greater China's largest-scale design competition, has launched the 7th annual competition.

Chinese designers under age of 35 are all invited to submit entries before March 16, 2007 via online application.

The winner of Gold Award will be awarded in NT$350 thousand dollars and a trophy.

Sponsored by Lite-On Technology Corporation since 2001, Lite-On Awards is a design competition created for young talents to advance their creativity and innovation.

In the past six years, Lite-On Awards has attracted more than 5,000 contestants and entries.

Some competition winners have further been awarded by the top 3 global awards, iF Awards, Red Dot Awards, and IDEA Awards.

The main theme of 2007 Lite-On Awards is "Foreseeing the Future", which is to encourage young designers to create an innovative 4C (Computer, Communication, Consumer Electronics, and Car electronics) world in the near future.

New and promising designers from Chinese communities throughout the world who are aged 35 years or less (born after 1971), are invited to participate as individuals or as teams (of no more than three persons in each team).
