You might think that design starts on the runway, but in the case of handcrafted handbags by Kathleen DeAngelis of San Clemente it actually began on the cutting-room floor.
DeAngelis, founder of KD Bags, uses Schumacher & Co.'s line of upholstery- and drapery-weight fabrics to create fabulous purses.
Use them to tote a lipstick and keys and they will look fab thrown on the couch.
"They also look great sitting on the fireplace mantel," DeAngelis joked.
