For A&E Network's original movie Kings of South Beach, based on the true story of the rise and fall of mob-connected Miami nightlife impresario Chris Paciello (called "Chris Troiano" here), FlickerLab, the New York-based development, design and animation studio, created graphics for a promotional package that included title cards, end pages, banners, bugs, and transitions.
The film is a wild and sexy tale of Miami's charismatic "It Boy" and his dangerous secrets.
In Kings of South Beach Chris Troiano founds South Beach's most glittering nightclubs, frequented by the likes of Madonna and Kate Moss.
But when Chris, with the help of his mysterious best friend, Andy Burnett, opens Liquid, one of the most sizzling night spots ever to hit Miami, the secret lives led by both Chris and Andy collide in a whirlwind of mobsters, money, and murder.
FllickerLab's Creative Director Harold Moss, explained "We were asked to design and create a graphics package that would convey a sense of Miami as a place, enhance the crime story grit, and integrate with the feeling of the movie posters."
