"Creative Thinking, Branding Britain" is a two-week course, which has been designed to provide you with a "creative-fix" - an exciting opportunity to explore the power of ideas, creativity and branding at the University College for the Creative Arts at Farnham in Britain - a country internationally regarded for the vibrancy of its creative industries (music, fashion, performing arts, design etc).
The course will benefit first and second year undergraduate students over 18 yrs from any creative practice-based discipline with a passion for branding and design, but will be particularly relevant for graphic designers, advertising creatives, product and interior designers.
During the course you will be introduced to a range of different creative processes and design methods such as: visual research and information gathering, lateral and linear thinking, mind mapping and brainstorming techniques, creative planning and time-management, mood-boards, concept generation and evaluation, design development and implementation.
You'll work independently to problem-solve and expand your creative horizons and you'll also work with other students on collaborative team-working assignments.
Studio work will be accompanied by a visit to exhibitions and retail outlets in London.
