Renegade, a New York-based integrated ideas agency, has completed the redesign of the website for Children for Children, a New York-based non-profit organization.
Children for Children promotes hands-on youth volunteering and giving from an early age and reaches out to concerned New York City parents, educators and students who are trying to make service a part of their lives and to better their communities.
"Renegade has been an interactive partner with Children for Children since we built their first website more than eight years ago" said Drew Neisser, CEO of Renegade.
"Three years ago we designed a database called Kids for Community that made it easy for kids to find volunteer opportunities and now it was time that we took their website and transformed it into a social community" added Neisser.
In tackling the site redesign, the Renegade creative team thought the best approach was to use the Internet to build a community around Children for Children that would enable all interested parties to instantly plug into the organization through multiple avenues.
