Two of Planet Propaganda's designs, the "Talking Jazz" CD box set and Ribeye and Cheeze Dunnys, earned Awards of Merit in the seventh annual One Show Design competition, presented at the One Show Design gala and exhibition at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York.
Four international panels reviewed 17,223 entries from 62 countries for creative excellence in advertising design.
Among the 5% of entries to make the list of finalists were Planet's designs for:
"Talking Jazz," Ben Sidran's 24-disc collection featuring rare conversations from 60 legendary jazz musicians including Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, and more.
Planet created a functional display case worthy of passionate jazz collectors who will appreciate the elegance and exclusivity of the limited run of 1,000 box sets.
Cheeze and Ribeye Dunnys, the limited-edition vinyl figures Planet developed for Kidrobot, the world's premier creator and retailer of limited-edition art toys and apparel.
Both figures reflect Planet's Wisconsin roots and are sold through the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum gift shop, as well as Kidrobot's retail outlets.
