6th German Design Conference

On the 24th - 25th October 2007 the International Design Center of Berlin (IDZ Berlin) hosts, in cooperation with the German Design Council the 6th German Design Conference at the Haus der Deutschen Wirtschaft, Berlin.

Businesses, designers and scientists will deal with the subject acceleration and design and will discuss the effects of acceleration on design process, product-development and customer - communication and will present possible outlooks on future developments.

Acceleration is a key-characteristic of today's time.

Previous long-term procedures are now done within a mouse click.

Information are available within seconds and communication is neither bound to time nor to space.

In ever shorter intervals new products and services are being put on the market - only to be soon replaced by even newer developments which promise better performance and more functions.
