This month, award winning visual effects company Zoic Studios celebrates its fifth anniversary.
The milestone comes just as Zoic receives a 2007 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie or Special for "Drive" and Outstanding Visual Effects for a Series for "Eureka."
Zoic was awarded the Emmy for Best Visual Effects in a TV Series in 2003 for "Firefly" and was previously nominated for its work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Battlestar Galactica."
The company has also recently completed high-profile spots for BK/Simpsons, Toyota and Sprite.
Launched by Executive Producer Steve Schofield, and Creative Directors Chris Jones and Loni Peristere, Zoic Studios is a leader in visual effects and CG animation in the commercials, feature film and episodic television arenas attracting top talent and clients from around the world.
"These past five years have been wonderful and Zoic continues to grow," says Executive Producer Steve Schofield.
"We could not have done it without our wonderful staff of terrific artists.
We're very proud of all the work we've done and very thankful to all of our clients who continue to evolve with Zoic."
The company, which began in Los Angeles, now features studios in Los Angeles and Vancouver, as well as an LA-based stage for green screen and other specialty shooting.
