The Graphic Imperative
The University Art Gallery unveiled its latest exhibition - "The Graphic Imperative: International Posters for Peace, Social Justice & the Environment 1965 to 2005."

The exhibit, which includes 111 posters representing 22 countries and 40 years of sociopolitical graphic design, opened Sept. 10 and will run through Oct. 10.

The exhibition is accompanied by an 80-page, full-color catalog, available at the gallery.

Exhibition catalogue essayist Carol A. Wells, exhibition co-curator Elizabeth Resnick and designer Art Chantry will make presentations in conjunction with the exhibition.

Frank Baseman, exhibition co-curator and graphic design communication professor at Philadelphia University, opened the exhibit with a gallery talk on Sept. 14.
