Manchester architects FKDA have just launched a new website to replace designfood.

"oube" aims to engage as wide an audience as possible in observing, exploring, discussing architecture; not just architects and the related professions, but the general public... we all live and work in and around buildings... we should therefore all play a greater part in understanding and contributing to our built environment.

The site contains a number of sections that allow people to contribute in creating a valuable resource that will appeal to the whole of our community.

They've added filters to the site so that if you choose, you can just view regional content.

Oube can also be used as a portal to identify and access information about some of the best architecture and design in the various regions of the UK from the vast number of other websites, magazines and books that cover the subject.
