72andSunny Sends Off Founding Partner Greg Perlot
Los Angeles-based brand strategy, design and advertising company 72andSunny announced that co-founder Greg Perlot will be leaving the company to become SVP of Marketing for Quiksilver in the Americas.

It's a return to the client side for Perlot, who spent a good part of the 90s running global brand communications for Microsoft, where the 72andSunny partners originally met.

"This is a great opportunity for Greg and a great next chapter for our company," said 72andSunny co-founder Glenn Cole.

"We've long passed the point where 72andSunny is about the partners.

We've cultivated an amazing group of leaders here that will get to spread their wings even more now.
Plus, I can have his parking spot.

Just kidding, we never gave him a parking spot."

Perlot departs as the agency completes its fourth year of unprecedented momentum and growth.

Named one of Advertising Age's 2007 global "agencies to watch," 72andSunny hasn't disappointed, launching work in 2007 for Cherry Coke, Zune Arts, Bugaboo, Nike+, Quiksilver and G4, and winning various new assignments, including Discovery Channel's brand relaunch.

The company has also accepted multiple creative honors, including having work inducted into New York's Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection.
