Entries are open for the International Master of Architectural Lighting Design Programme at KTH, Stockholm.
The profile of the Architectural Lighting Design Programme is based on a new approach to light and light planning which is a combination of visual, physical and biologically based experience and knowledge applied to design, technology and health.
The educational idea is based on a comprehensive view, where theoretical knowledge will be combined with practical application in laboratory experiments, project work, full scale studies and mock ups.
The international profile of the Programme will offer in-depth discussion and understanding of culturally-based views and values.
The aim of the Programme is to provide the student with the knowledge and understanding to carry out work required to design light for interior and exterior architectural projects, for both electrical and daylight solutions in such a way that the design can be implemented, become an integral part of the project and establish an efficient, enjoyable, healthy, sustainable, safe and well accepted environment for the people who live, work and relax in it.
Deadline is February 1, 2008.
