Zumtobel Group Award

This exhibition features the outcome of the biennial Zumtobel Group Award, bestowed for the first time in September 2007.

This architectural prize, initiated by the Zumtobel Group and conceptualized by Aedes, promotes sustainable and humanitarian approaches to architecture and the built environment as well as innovative research projects.

Presented will be the awarded projects from the categories "Built Environment": the San Francisco Federal Building by Pritzker prizewinner Thom Mayne, and "Research and Initiative": the solar chimney power plant by Schlaich Bergermann Solar, as well as eight projects that received a honorary mention.
