Bank of Ideas Design Council Mulls Over a Repository for Award Entries
The Malaysian Design Council is mulling over setting up a "bank of ideas" as a repository of all ideas and designs created by participants of the Young Inventors Award, its Chairman Datuk Dr Ahmad Zainuddin said.

He said this would give opportunities to the industry to pick and choose ideas and designs which they think had commercial pontentials.

"The council will soon brief the industry on the process to commercialise the inventions, the protection of intellectual property right as well as grants offered by the government through the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry," he said at the presentation the Young Inventors Award 2007 today.
