Future Manufacturing Strategies Modelling for Composites Design Manufacture
As part of its Future Manufacturing Strategies Innovation Seminars programme, The University of Nottingham is holding a one day training seminar aimed at raising awareness, skills and understanding of the benefits of modelling and simulation for composites design and manufacture.

This seminar will demonstrate the benefits of using modelling and simulation in the design and manufacture of composite structures.

The morning covers the basic theory and summarises the tools available, whilst the afternoon includes a number of industrial case studies.

Industry speakers from the Transport, Security and Defence sectors will present detailed case studies that illustrate the significant benefits that composites modelling and simulation brings to industry for design and manufacture of components to full systems.

Software demonstrations will be available over lunch, offering the opportunity to discuss the potential benefits of using various modelling tools.
