
Two budding East Anglian fashion designers have won the chance to see their designs paraded on the catwalk in the UK's style capital next week.
Anneka Long and Kerry Knowles, who study at Isle College in Wisbech, have made it through to the grand final of a nationwide design competition.
Earlier this week they found out they had made it through the south eastern heat of the Can U Cut It competition.
Their creations will be showcased at the London College of Fashion on Tuesday.
The competition tests the entrants' design and technical abilities and is organised by Skillfast-UK, which promotes skills in the clothing, footwear and textile industries.
Miss Long, 20, from King's Lynn and Miss Knowles, 19, from Peterborough, have just completed a BTEC national diploma in Fashion and Clothing course at the Wisbech college, which is renown in fashion circles.
Miss Long, a former pupil of Lynn's King Edward VII school and the College of West Anglia, has won a place on the London College of Fashion's BA fashion course.
Miss Knowles is heading to the Surrey Institute of Art and Design to carry on her studies.
The students entered outfits from their final collections into the competition.
Miss Long's collection, Deco Jazz, was inspired by the 1920s.
