Agfa Monotype Adds Seven Type Foundries and Over 250 Fonts to Fonts com
Agfa Monotype Corp. has added more than 250 products to Fonts com. Collections from Tolstrup Pryds, Typeco, Jonathan Macagba, Elemeno, Selis, Wiescher Design and Altered Ego can be viewed, purchased and downloaded from web site.

"The expansion of Fonts.com has brought exposure to dozens of emerging foundries," said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Agfa Monotype. "The originality and usefulness of these new collections make them well-deserving of this attention."

Tolstrup Pryds was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Lisbeth Tolstrup and Lars Pryds. The duo's sole product, the TolleOne(TM) family, resembles roughly drawn handwriting and includes three weights. TolleOne is priced at $32 for either the PostScript(R) or TrueType(R) format for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) or Macintosh(R) systems.

After several years with the P22 type foundry, James Grieshaber decided to start one of his own - Typeco. Grieshaber's Super Duty(TM) family is a stenciled design with lowercase characters equal in height to the capitals. The 52 Typeco products are available in the PostScript and TrueType formats for Windows and Macintosh platforms with prices starting at $36.

Jonathan Macagba offers a variety of display fonts and ornaments including the Edofont(TM) typeface, a collection of over 50 authentic Japanese crests. The
