The Dyson - IDSA an Eye for Why Design and Engineering Competition

Dyson, Inc. and IDSA have teamed up to challenge industrial design students to create an innovative household product that reflects Dyson's philosophy and commitment to intelligent, function-first design and will be designed to work better by solving a problem.

This is a terrific opportunity for students at any of the NASAD-accredited degree programs or individual student members of IDSA to show the world a new and better way of doing things. Substantial cash awards will be given to the students who submit the top 5 entries and the First Place winner and his or her advisor will receive a trip to New York for the awards ceremony (time and place TBA). The faculty advisor to the First Place winner will also receive a significant cash award.
