Turkey Today

In the period in which the European Union is to decide whether Turkey can join the EU, ARCAM is organizing an exhibition about contemporary Turkish architecture: Turkey Today.

Contemporary Turkish architecture in Turkey and the Netherlands.

The focus of the exhibition is a selection of projects in Turkey, which together are representative of architectural developments from 1980 to the present day. Work by some ten architects, all high-profile names in Turkey, will be shown with photographs, impressions, sketches and floor plans.

The texts are in Dutch, Turkish and English. During Amsterdam's Museum Night on 6 November, ARCAM's programme will be devoted entirely to Turkey.
