
Tiger Racing's latest project, a 2005 Mustang GT street car specially equipped for drivers with disabilities, was featured in Ford's booth at SEMA this year.
Tiger Racing has some experience in preparing high performance Mustangs for drivers with disabilities. The team fields a 2003 Mustang in the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge for driver Carol Hollfelder, a paraplegic who drives with hand controls. They are pleased to be working with Mobility Products & Design on the 2005 Mustang. Their brake/throttle hand controls have a sleek, modern design finished in black, anodized aluminum.
That isn't the only adaptation that has been made to this car. Classic Design Concepts have created a striking body kit that enhances the already powerful lines of the retro-modern Mustang including a unique, glass roof. Bassani Xhaust and Vortech Superchargers have added their spin to boost performance to an impressive 400 hp. HP Motorsport's suspension, combined with MOMO's 20" wheels wrapped in Toyo tires provide maximum grip while StopTech 14" brakes bring it all under control, making this custom Mustang a well rounded package.
