Tronic Studio Young International Design Firm at Knoxville Museum of Art
The Knoxville Museum of Art will present Design Lab: Tronic Studio, featuring the New York City multimedia design firm Tronic Studio whose clients have included MTV, Nike, Wired, Fuse Network, Fine Living, and Diesel Denim to name a few. Tronic Studio creates an "immersive experience" by blending architecture with art, video production and interface design. The exhibition, on display at the Knoxville Museum of Art January 14 to March 27, 2005, is the firm's first solo museum exhibition.

"Tronic Studio is blazing new paths in all aspects of design and how we experience information. Their work excites in us new visions of how our visual world will look and feel. We're thrilled to present their work to this region." says Dana Self, Barbara W. and Bernard E. Bernstein Curator of Collection and Exhibitions of the Knoxville Museum of Art.

Tronic Studio was founded in 2001 by Jesse Seppi and Vivian Rosenthal,,after graduation from Columbia University. In 2004, they branded and created the environment for NextFest, Wired magazine's interactive technology conference and will continue in 2005. Other projects include 3D animated commercials on screens in Times Square, illustrations for Wired magazine, an animated helicopter for the Broadway production of Miss Saigon, 3D visualizations for Nikelab.com, an interactive/interf ace
