2004 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Winners Unveiled
New York Fashion Week just wrapped. And again this year, thanks to Ecco Domani Italian Wines, five up-and-coming fashion designers received the opportunity of a lifetime -- the chance to show their designs during Fashion Week.

The five emerging designers selected for the third annual Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation were: Derek Lam, Jeffrey Chow, Libertine, and Doo-Ri in the women's design category, and Andrew Harmon, in the men's design category.

Barneys New York kicked off fashion week with a party to honor the 2004 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winners. The event, attended by fashion world luminaries, was a great success and was covered widely in the New York press.

Each of the five selected designers received $20,000 from the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation to assist them in showcasing their collection during New York Fashion Week.

The winners of the women's design category were selected by a distinguished committee of fashion insiders including Marylou Luther, Editor at The International Fashion Syndicate; Sally Singer, Fashion News/Features Director at Vogue Magazine; Kim Hastreiter, Editor-in-Chief & Publisher of Paper magazine; Joan Kaner, Senior Vice President & Fashion Director at Neiman Marcus; Julie Gilhart, Vice President of Fashion Merchandising at Barney's; and Ruth Finley, Publisher of The Fashion
