The chosen design for a new state-of-the art venue in east London for elite swimmers in the 2012 Olympic Games is to be revealed.
The design for the Aquatics Centre, which will be selected from a shortlist of six architectural teams, will be announced at City Hall on Monday.
The teams have taken part in a London Development Agency competition involving about 200 firms worldwide.
The Aquatics Centre is expected to leave a lasting legacy for London.
The Mayor of London Ken Livingstone will be joined by Sport England chairman Lord Carter of Coles, architect Lord Rogers, London 2012 chief executive Keith Mills and triple Paralympic gold medallist swimmer and world record holder Giles Long.
The winning team will present a model of their design to Olympic bid officials.
