Sharp Pixel Wins AIGA World Day of Design Poster Competition
Sharp Pixel is pleased to announce its poster series has been selected by AIGA, the leading association for communication design, to represent the US design community on World Day of Design.

Only 30 firms across the nation were chosen for this honor!

Celebrated throughout the world, World Day of Design is an international holiday acknowledging the vital role of design in the public arena.

In support of this initiative, AIGA hosted a juried exhibition of posters to acknowledge April 27, 2005 as the first World Day of Design celebration in the United States.

The theme for the exhibition was "diversity," broadly defined as "a point of respect in which things differ." Posters were selected on the basis of concept and design by a panel of design professionals and educators.

Entitled Multiplicity, sharp pixel's poster series represents diversity as the only constant in life.

"In nature, no two acorns are identical, yet they are all alike," said sharp pixel Co-Founder and President Charla Pereira. "In this poster series we show diversity as the common element that both differentiates and connects all things."
