
Opening on 22 May at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, The Hotel Show is expected to attract a record number of hotel managers, developers and owners, as well as interior designers, architects and specifiers for a three-day showcase of products and services vital to all sectors of the hospitality industry.
While the concept of lighting design is nothing new to the increasingly sophisticated Middle East market, there is a niche for suppliers of independent lighting services such as UK-based consultancy Phoenix Large [lightmatters] whose client portfolio includes prestigious projects such as the Westin Hotel in Warsaw and Cairo's Al Azhar Park.
'We will be using The Hotel Show to communicate to the region's architects and interior designers the advantages of using an independent lighting consultancy, which has no ties to a particular manufacturer', said Graham Large, Director, Phoenix Large [lightmatters].
'Our technical expertise and depth of product knowledge, combined with our freedom to source products from many different brands provides for tailor-made solutions that fit individual design and budget requirements,' he said.
