Dupont: Shaping New Trends in Living

Dupont Shaping New Trends in Living
DuPont supports the XXII UIA Congress, building on its strong ties with architects.

Putting its 200 years plus of science heritage at the disposal of architects, DuPont helps in shaping today's and tomorrow's living trends and enhances the safety, aesthetics, sustainability and comfort of buildings.

An official supporter of the XXII UIA Congress held in Istanbul, DuPont is strongly committed to this leading architectural gathering and to understanding architects' design aspirations.

"We are very proud to support this year's UIA Congress in Turkey, both to take part in shaping new living trends through our strong ties with visionary architects and because of the Congress' symbolic presence in Turkey, a key country at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, where we are increasing our foothold," said Jean-Luc Duramy, Director DuPont Turkey, Middle-East, North-Africa.

DuPont is hosting a seminar for all Congress participants in the presence of internationally renowned Turkish architect, Han Tumertekin, which will explore how an architect's vision needs to be coupled with sound grounding in technical, safety and business realities to take shape.

Tumertekin, recognised for blending traditional and modern influences and recipient of the Aga Khan Award 2004, will discuss the role of materials with DuPont business leaders.
