The new toaster design by Amadana brings elegance to the kitchens.
Amadana was the name of the lacquer-making quarters in old Edo, and now elite consumer electronics designer Realfleet has adopted the moniker for its new brand of products, which strive to combine the demands of "convenient" Japanese modern-day life with traditional materials and styles.
Amadana has succeeded in transforming the terminally dowdy toaster oven into an object of desire by using a space-saving design, half-mirrored glass and a crafted handle made of walnut.
