Architecture  Technology Award 2006
The Architecture + Technology Award is presented in recognition of projects which combine exemplary architectural design with innovative engineering.

All projects entered must be located in Europe, must not be older than three years, and must have been fully operational for at least one year when the competition was announced.

The Architecture + Technology Award is presented every three years to a team of freelance architects and engineers for outstanding work in the planning, realisation and operation of structural projects.

The Architecture + Technology Award, founded by Messe Frankfurt, is worth EUR 75,000.

Along with Messe Frankfurt, the prize's sponsors are the Association of German Architects (Bund Deutscher Architekten - BDA), the German Architecture Museum (DAM), the Institute of Air Conditioning for Buildings (Fachinstitut Gebäude-Klima e.V. - FGK) and the Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI).

The prize is awarded with the support of the European Commission Joint Research Centre, as part of the European Green Building Programme.

Architects and engineers up to 39 years old can also enter for the "New Talents Award" competition.

This award includes personal prize money of EUR 10,000.

Competition entries must arrive at the Organisation Office no later than 6.00 p.m. Central European Time
