The landmark's exterior is intact, its travertine shell restored, and new signage and landscaping added.

The interior is transformed through transparent, semi-transparent, and perforated surfaces creating differentiated spaces for the store and office functions, and allowing varying levels of visual privacy.

A mural, sculpture, and stained glass window depict nearby beach scenes.

While clearly maintaining a sense of the past, the new project simultaneously stretches our perceptions to the edge of our rapidly transforming world.
