MTD Housing by Blackbird Architects Inc. was competition winner for affordable housing & site masterplanning for 18 acres between downtown Santa Barbara & UCSB along the MTD transit line.

Large common greenways, a small commercial area, and a range of housing types (400 units @ 400-1500 sq.ft.) provide livability and meet local housing needs.

The project started in 2002 and has not been finalized yet.
