Suitland Manor National Urban Design Competition
The Prince George's County Redevelopment Authority (RA) is conducting a national urban design competition focusing on Suitland Manor: the largest community rebuilding effort in Prince George's County to date.

RA is seeking a creative design proposal that could be used as a blueprint for future redevelopment at the Suitland Manor site.

Open to all design and development professionals, as well as college students, the goal is to create a design that incorporates a vision for the future of Suitland Manor.

Judging of the entries will be conducted by a distinguished panel selected by Dean Garth Rockcastle at the University of Maryland's School of Architecture in College Park.

A grand prize winner will be selected in late Spring to receive $5,000.

Other prizes will be awarded as well.

Those wishing to participate are encouraged to register by February 28, 2006.
