Thaw 2006 Call for Submissions
IDEA is looking to showcase medium to large sized furniture, accessories and lighting designs for Thaw 2006.
Thaw is one of largest contemporary design exhibits in Western Canada, and will take place during The Works Art and Design Festival from June 23rd to July 5th, 2006.
The objective of this exhibit is to continue to explore the relationship between the designer and the end user and to provide public awareness in sustainably designed products.
They have introduced themselves to the persona of Agnès Petterson, who is the inspiration behind all designs submitted.
Attached you will find a lighthearted questionnaire that Agnès has filled out in order for you to acquaint yourself with her.
Designs should be based on your interpretation of her personality and lifestyle.
However, the intention is not to custom design to her lifestyle but to envision her as the consumer or end user.
