A Japanese company has designed the world's first hybrid bike whose motor runs on neither petrol nor diesel.
Tokyo based Axle Corporation has introduced a new electric motorbike with a hybrid magnetic motor which can run almost noiselessly for as far as 180 kilometers on one charge.
The best part is that the battery can be charged at home just like a cellular phone and the full charge takes just a little over six hours.
The vehicle can travel up to speeds of 150 kilometers per hour.
All this is possible thanks to a state-of-the-art magnetic motor which is a hybrid between a electromagnet and a permanent magnet.
