Branding and Creative Agency Love and War Finds a Home in New York
The Big Apple prepares for a little Love and War as a new creative agency sets up shop in New York.

The brainchild of former Hornet creative director Eng San Kho and advertising and brand consultant Peter Tashjian, Love and War combines the creative strength of a boutique-advertising agency with the execution ability of a production house.

Founded on the belief that the rapid emergence of new media forms would require a new kind of agency, Kho and Tashjian set forward to create a boutique to meet the media world at its new and burgeoning crossroad.

The intersection would lie at the steps of Love and War, a shop that could develop creative solutions and execute integrated campaigns across print, web, broadcast, and other emerging media.

"Our goal is to function like the ultimate in-house creative department," says Kho, "a single team that can attack problems and turn around great creative."

Veering away from the formation of the run-of the-mill creative agency, Love and War has moved beyond the traditional structure of branding shops to generate a series of cross disciplinary "go to" teams that combine brand strategy, advertising, and hands-on production skill.
