
The organisers of the 17 International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont are pleased to announce the 2006 winners. Selected from more than 1800 entries received from 46 countries, the international jury considered 122 posters in the final selection.
The jury members included: Shigeo Fukuda (Japan), Anette Lenz (France), Rico Lins (Brasil), Alice Twemlow (USA) and Oleg Veklenko (Ukraine).
First Prize: Andrey Logvin (Russia) "Museum Night Taste Of Life, 2005"
Second Prize: Harmen Liemburg (Pays-Bas) "Fall Lecture Series, 2005"
Third Prize : M/M Paris (France) "Los Angeles, 2005"
Icograda Excellence Award: Stefan Sagmeister (United States) "Chaumont Sagmeister, 2004-2005"
Thanks to the entries of graphic designers from all over the world, the collection of contemporary posters in Chaumont is now one of the leading French collections, building a unique panorama of the graphic production of the last twenty years in over sixty countries.
A selection of the posters received is on display at the Entrepot des Subsistances from 15 May through 25 June 2006.
