Sacramento International Airport Terminal Modernization Plan

Sacramento International Airport Terminal Modernization Plan
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is your gateway to Northern California destinations and major cities across the U.S., and the world.

Service is available from 13 major carriers and one commuter airline.

Sacramento International Airport has been the site of change over recent years.

Improvements are either currently planned or underway on the roadways, parking, landscaping, and airfield.

SCAS is involved in a multi-phased planning effort to identify (plan and design) and implement the future vision for SMF.

The SMF Master Plan was the first phase of this process and the final draft was approved by the Board of Supervisors in February 2004.

The Terminal Modernization Program is the second phase of this planning effort.

It was developed to identify preliminary facilities requirements, terminal complex alternatives, evaluation of those alternatives and the selection of a preferred terminal development concept.
