Morris Office Completes Associated Newspapers
Morris Office, one of the UK's leading designers and manufacturers of office furniture and related products, has completed an installation at the refurbished offices of Associated Newspapers in Central London.

The new headquarters building was formerly home to department store Barkers of Kensington.

When the store closed its doors for the last time at the end of 2005, it gave Associated Newspapers the opportunity to consolidate two London based divisions of the company.

The revamped building is now home to daily free newspaper Metro and Associated New Media, which provides the Group's online content for titles such as the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and Evening Standard.

Working closely with furniture consultants Field Interiors, Morris delivered 300 Connect workstations in June 2006.

Connect was chosen to create bench workstations in the main open plan offices as welll as providing a 'stand alone' solution for cellular offices.

Finished in maple and silver with desktop screens finished in black for the Metro area and blue for New Media, Connect was chosen as the preferred option by a panel of end users and members of the in-house facilities team who were also delighted with the ease with which the system can be reconfigured.
