Guangzhou Design Week 2006

Guangzhou is well known for her hot weather in summer, especially this summer, when the first professional design & innovation event is to take place in the City.

July 17th, Guangzhou Design Week 2006 meets its new climax in the "Party on the deck".

Ms. Ye jingmin, the director of Economic and Trade Commission of Guangzhou Municipality delivers a speech in the "Party", speaking highly of the achievements that has made by Guangzhou Design Week 2006 so far.

The operating lounge of GZDW2006 announce the kick-off of three series activities In the "Party"- "2006 Annual Meeting of China Institute of Interior Design", "Jinyang Award-the top ten designers of Guangzhou" and " first brand of designers' choice".

China Institute of Interior Design (CIID), is the only internationally certificated & authorized academic organization of interior design association in China.

The annual meeting of which, is a historic & largest event for China's Interior Designers.

Vice president of the Association, Mr. Lao indicates that Guangzhou Design Week 2006 has played an important role for Guangzhou as venue to hold the annual meeting.

It is estimated that at least 1500 distinguished Chinese interior designers will gather in Guangzhou during GZDW2006.
