Giuseppe Saltarelli from Canada has won the Alpinestars and Autosport design competition for Tonio Liuzzi's Brazilian Grand Prix racing boots.
The Toro Rosso driver personally picked Saltarelli's design out of more than 120 designs submitted by Autosport readers last week.
31-year-old Saltarelli, a graphic designer from Montreal and father of a two years old daughter, says he has been a Formula One and Ferrari fan since 1995.
"To be able to connect the passion I have for F1 to the one I have for design is something I always strived for, but always thought out of reach," he said after being told he has won the design competition.
"So having my design selected by Tonio Liuzzi, whom I respect for his talent, his sense of style and of course for the sentimental value that he's an Italian, is an honour for me and a dream come true.
