The winners of the 2006 DBA Design Effectiveness Awards will be announced on Monday 27 November at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in West London.
The Rt Hon Shaun Woodward MP, Minister for Creative Industries & Tourism, will open the ceremony.
Leading members of the design industry and their clients gather for this important and prestigious event which recognises the directly attributable effect of design as a contributor to commercial success.
There are 12 categories which include corporate identity branding programmes, interior, product and packaging design projects.
The Grand Prix is awarded to the one project which demonstrates the most significant and impressive evidence of design effectiveness overall.
Large corporate projects are pitted against smaller enterprises and entries are judged rigorously and objectively upon their business performance.
Acknowledging the importance of British design to overseas markets, there is also the International Export Award, which recognises a project undertaken by a British business for an overseas client.
Established in 1989, the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards recognise, reward and promote the integral role effective design plays in the creation of business growth.
